Hitler sizing up the British Empire.
Then, Chamberlain, had no recourse,
Except to allow his tyrannical pursuit.
Fast forward, Putin, and what a crime,
Crimea, Transnistria, an old hinterland.
Like Chamberlain then, Obama is now
Half as strong, and twice as shallow.
